Fees

Active participants – fee:  1 200,- CZK 

The fee includes: 

• entry to the selling exhibition of sheet music, guitars and guitar accessories  
• free admission to the concerts
• free admission to the workshops    

Passive participants – fee:   800,- CZK  

The fee includes:  

• free admission to the concerts
• free admission to the workshops (Tomáš Honěk "The modern classical guitar - from construction to care",  Neno Munitič "The art of teaching - An individual approach to working with students" and  Philippe Villa "In Berlioz's time, or why the guitar did not disappear during the Romantic period".

Concert tickets:

Ticket for one concert                                        Adult 200,- CZE, Senior 100,- CZE, Childern for free

Package - Ticket for all Concerts                       Adult 500,- CZE, Senior 250,- CZE, Childern for free

• All the active and passive participants are obliged to send an online application 
• The number of competitiors is limited – the receipt date of the application form will be the determinating factor –

  • The competitior’s date of birth should be used as a variable symbol of the fee payment as follows: if the participant was born on October 3rd 2003, the variable symbol is 20031003; in special cases the participants fee can be paid in Czech crowns immediately after arrival. This must be consulted with the competition director in advance. The fee is not refundable in case of applicant’s absence. Travel, accomodation and meals expenses are to be covered by the participants. An accommodation will be arranged by the competition organizer, according to the information given in the application form. The template can be found on: www.igc-zruc.cz

Conditions

• All music school students (including students of conservatories and music high schools – gymnasium) are allowed to participate in the competition; the competitors must comply with the given repertory, and must be under age of 19 years.
• The time limits and the order of pieces stated in the competitors´ applications must be abide. The time limits include the whole performance (including breaks between the pieces, tuning, etc.). The order of pieces stated on the application forms may be changed no later than before the start of the category, following consultation with the competition director.
• The competitors must present a copy of birth certificate upon the organizer’s request. 
• Infringement of the conditions will lead to a participant’s disqualification.
• The participants can apply for enrolment in a higher category, but may only enter one category. It is not possible to compete in two different categories.
• The scores of obligatory pieces are not provided by the competition organizer.
• The obligatory pieces can not be used in the free programme; free pieces can be performed only once during the competition.
• Laureate of the past competition is not alloved to participate the competition again.

General provisions

• The competitors have the right to quit the competition. However, in such case they shall not be refunded the costs related to their participation in the competition. By the act of submitting a formal registration to the Secretariat of the Competition, the participants agree with the terms of the competition.
• Competitors‘ performances will be judged by the jury appointed according to the regulations of the competititon.
• The jury is composed of both Czech and foreign interprets and pedagogues. 
• The jury is entitled to award 1st to 3rd prize, or a recognition award.
• After the contest closure the jury will announce the „Laureate of the XI. International Guitar Competition Zruč nad Sázavou 2026“. 
• It is the jury‘s right to award the following recognitions: 
  • the best interpreter of a Czech composition prize
  • the youngest competitor prize
• The jury‘s decision is final and irrevocable.
• The competitor with the highest score will be awarded „The Laureate of the International Guitar Competition Zruč nad Sázavou 2026“ title.
• The winners, as well as other awarded competitors, will receive their prizes during final festive ceremony. 
• The number of participants may be limited for reasons of time. In this case, the date of the original application receipt will be the determining factor for applicator´s  attendance in the competition.

The schedule of competition wil be published three weeks  before its start on the web pages www.igc-zruc.cz.

Accomodation

Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodation. We recommend staying at Hotel Zruč, where we have reserved rooms for competition participants. Room capacity is limited!!!
